Property tax declarations for certain businesses to be cancelled from 2022

The Russian Parliament adopted a bill that will exempt business and shopping centers, restaurants and cafes from submitting a declaration on property, starting in 2022.

For such real estate, property tax will be calculated similarly to transport and land tax: the company itself calculates the amount and pays it. Only later, the tax inspection sends a message about the tax it calculated.

Other property tax amendments:
- Regions will no longer set deadlines for tax payments and advance payments on it, сommon dates will be set for all companies in the country.
- By submitting a specific application, taxes may not be paid from the 1st day of the month of an object's destruction.
